Sneha Rao, MD, FAAP
Dr. Rao has been practicing pediatrics for over 10 years. She completed her pediatric residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. She worked in the Flint area for 4 years before moving to Oakland county in 2018. She worked with Dr. Sunil Das at Orion Pediatrics for a few years and then she decided to open up Monarch Pediatrics to serve the people of this community.
She loves children of all ages and enjoys interacting with families and watching them grow. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a lifelong learer. Even after advanced training in pediatrics, she continually pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in pediatric health.
Dr. Rao believes in approaching every patient as an individual, rather than as a set of symptoms. She is known among her patients as being a good listener, friendly and patient with kids. Being a parent herself, she understands the challenges faced by parents and strives to treat every infant, child and teen as if they were her own.
She lives in Lake Orion with her husband and two little children. She enjoys spending time outdoors in the summer, hiking, chasing butterflies and raising monarch butterflies along with her kids.
