Mission Statement

Our goal is to establish a medical home for patients ranging from the newborn stage to young adulthood that provides exceptional and evidence based care

Physician owned and operated, we strive to provide quality care to children that is all round and readily accessible.

Patient and family centered: We are a pediatric practice that prioritizes our patients and families. We strive to do the best for our patients. Our goal is to empower you by helping you take charge of your child’s health. We often focus on educating you because you are with your child all the time and know your child best. We want to help you make the best informed decisions for your child and find the best parenting style.

We do not believe in giving medications that are not necessary. Not every cold needs antibiotics. In fact, there is a lot of harm done by prescribing antibiotics that are not necessary. You will often find Dr. Rao prescribing home remedies for common illnesses. When prescription medications become necessary, the benefits and risks of either options will be discussed.

We offer a wide range of services, including physical exams, sports physicals, prenatal meet-and-greets, well-child visits, chronic disease management, newborn care, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) care.

Importance to mental health: As the saying goes, A sound mind in a sound body. Mental health is as important as physical health. Mental health is often not given as much importance as it deserves. At Monarch Pediatrics, your child will be screened regularly for mental health and wellness, in accordance with the guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics. We will also recommend several resources for the mental wellbeing of your child.

We support immunization: We believe in immunizations and its role in preventing communicable diseases. In line with the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control, the practice does not accept or retain patients who do not vaccinate. If you have questions about the vaccine schedule, Dr. Rao is open for discussion.

We focus on education.
